  • From the home display screen of your Motorola QUENCH XT502 Mobile Phone, touch Menu
  • Touch System settings configurations
  • Scroll down and touch Privacy
  • Touch Factory Data Reset
  • Scroll down and check Remove internal storage space if you would like to remove all the files on the phone internal storage space such as apps, audio, videos or pictures.
  • Touch Reset Motorola QUENCH XT502 Mobile Phone

Last alternative is to attempt an external factory reset.

Notice: When using this function; everything is removed from the Motorola QUENCH XT502.

NOTE: Reset will need a minimum battery power level of 30%. If you are unable to execute a reset, you should charge for 20-30 minutes and try again.

  • With the Motorola QUENCH XT502 powered off, click the VOLUME UP + VOLUME DOWN BUTTON together + POWER BUTTON.

  • Use the VOLUME DOWN Key to SCROLL to Recovery and VOLUME UP BUTTON to SELECT
  • Tip: If the product reboots, the customer has most likely waited to long to make a choice. They will need to begin the process again.
  • The product will screen the Motorola logo and then the Android operating system in distress ( logo with Exclamation mark)
  • Click and hold the VOLUME DOWN BUTTON for 5-10 secs
  • While still holding the VOLUME DOWN BUTTON tap and release the VOLUME UP key.
  • The device will screen additional menu choices (Text will show up in BLUE)
  • Utilization the VOLUME DOWN BUTTON to scroll to Wipe data / factory reset and the POWER BUTTON to Choose this method.
  • Use the VOLUME DOWN BUTTON again to select YES – remove all user files and click the POWER BUTTON to Verify
  • Once the Formatting is finish, press the POWER BUTTON to verify a REBOOT
  • The product will reboot and start the regular power up sequence.
